The REO Transportation Museum — home to the “Soldiers of Production” legacy exhibit — stands as a powerful testament to Lansing’s automotive heritage and the drive of its community. Capital Imaging collaborated with design firm Soloh Focus to bring this immersive experience to life, using a mix of wall wraps, freestanding signage, floor decals, and header elements to guide visitors through an evocative journey.

At its core, the museum honors Ransom E. Olds, a pioneering figure in the automotive industry. Olds not only created the principle of the assembly line but also founded two influential companies: Olds Motor Works and the REO Motor Car Company. Through its carefully curated exhibits, the museum highlights how his vision shaped not just a local economy — but an entire industry.

Capital Imaging’s work on the "Soldiers of Production" exhibit is more than just decorative — it’s storytelling through design. The wall wraps vividly depict workers and historic vehicles, while floor decals and freestanding signage invite visitors to engage with the space in a tangible way. The environment feels layered, like stepping into different chapters of Lansing's automotive past.

The design also considers visitor flow and accessibility. Signage is clear and compelling, providing context for each part of the exhibit, while the layout encourages exploration. Capital Imaging’s implementation makes it easy for guests to connect visually and emotionally with the museum’s stories.
